Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room role in Knoxville, TN. A TN or compact RN license and at least 2 years of OR experience are required, with Cerner EMR familiarity preferred.

The position runs a 13-week assignment with a Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–2:30 PM schedule. Travel-ready candidates live more than 50 miles away; benefits include housing and licensure reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Active TN or compact RN license required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience required.
• Cerner EMR experience preferred.
• Driver's license and permanent home address matching ID required for consideration.
• No certifications expiring within first 30 days of start.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Operating Room setting with specialties including GYN, General Robotics, Trauma, Urology, Colorectal, Neuro, and Bariatrics.
• Monday through Friday schedule, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
• Call requirements typically run from end of shift until 10:00 PM or 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM during the week, with weekend call split into 12-hour shifts.
• Uses Cerner EMR.
• 13-week assignment.
• Hospital-provided scrubs.
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted.
• RTO requests must be less than one week.
• Travelers who worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years will not be considered.
• First-time travelers may be considered.
