American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced RN - Operating Room Circulator in Michigan. Active MI RN license and BLS are required; 2+ years of OR experience with hip, knee procedures preferred.

This travel assignment features day shifts with a mix of two 8-hour and two 12-hour shifts, plus on-call duties. Local travelers within 35 miles receive a reduced travel rate and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active MI RN license required at time of consideration.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• Minimum 2 years of RN Operating Room experience.
• Experience with hip, joint, and knee procedures.
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate in OR as circulating nurse, monitoring procedures and patient safety.
• Days shift: two 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) and two 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) weekly.
• On-call requirement of three 12-hour call shifts within a 28-day schedule (Sunday through Saturday).
• Call shifts run 7:00 PM–7:00 AM.
• Work alongside certified anesthesiologists, surgeons, and specialized OR technicians as part of the surgical team.
• No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed during the assignment.
• Candidates residing within a 35-mile radius of the facility are considered local travelers and subject to a reduced travel rate.

• Operating Room setting performing more than 8,000 surgical and endoscopy procedures annually across general elective and critical/life-saving specialties
• Days shift schedule combining two 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM-3:30 PM) and two 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM-7:30 PM) per week
• On-call requirement of three 12-hour call shifts within a 28-day schedule (Sunday through Saturday)
• Call shifts run 7:00 PM-7:00 AM
• Function as a circulating nurse, monitoring the surgical procedure and ensuring patient health and safety throughout the operation
• Work alongside certified anesthesiologists, surgeons, and specialized OR technicians as part of the surgical team
