Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an SSSU/PACU role in a hospital outpatient setting in Washington. The nurse will provide perioperative care across Pre, Post, PACU, Phase II, Endoscopy and Infusion areas over 4 10-hour day shifts with on-call coverage and floating requirements.

Active WA or compact RN license with BLS, ACLS and PALS is required, along with at least two years of SSSU/PACU/Pre/Post experience.

Qualifications

• Active WA or compact RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certs
• Minimum 2 years SSSU/PACU/Pre/Post experience

Responsibilities

• Work in the Outpatient Services area of a hospital setting, including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, PACU, and Pre-operative Clinic
• Provide perioperative nursing care across Pre, Post, PACU, Phase II, Endoscopy and Infusion areas
• Schedule consists of 4 10-hour day shifts with a variable schedule
• Shared on-call rotation required for PACU coverage
• Floating required across the entire Outpatient Services area
• Provide peri-operative education and care while recognizing post anesthesia and post-operative complications
• Support conscious sedation needs for special procedures throughout the hospital
