Job summary

American Traveler, LLC is seeking a PACU RN for a critical access hospital in Vermont. The role covers Periop, Endoscopy, and Recovery units, requiring strong proficiency across all three specialties and an active VT RN license or compact license.

Shifts are 10 hours from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with on-call Fridays as needed and occasional weekend requirements. Travel experience is preferred, and candidates should be able to start IVs and operate within a small facility.

Qualifications

• Active VT RN license or compact license required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association.
• 2+ years of outpatient PACU experience required.
• Experience in Periop, Endoscopy, and Recovery preferred.
• Must be able to start and maintain IV lines.
• Small facility experience preferred.
• Must have own vehicle and a PACU/Endoscopy skill set.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient PACU coverage in Periop, Endoscopy, and Recovery at a critical access hospital.
• 10-hour shifts, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday–Thursday; on-call Fridays as needed.
• Periop starts 6:00 AM, Endo 6:30 AM, Recovery 8:00 AM.
• On-call one night per week and every 5th weekend as scheduled.
• Provide care across Periop, Endoscopy, and Recovery units; travel experience preferred.

• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required

Responsibilities

• Outpatient setting covering Periop, Endoscopy, and Recovery departments at a critical access hospital
• 10-hour day shifts, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM, Monday-Thursday with occasional Fridays when on call
• Periop starts at 6:00 AM, Endo at 6:30 AM, and Recovery at 8:00 AM
• Every 5th weekend and holidays required as needed, typically on a rotating basis
• On-call required one night per week and every 5th weekend
• Compact RN license accepted
• Provide care across Periop, Endoscopy, and Recovery units, requiring high proficiency in each specialty
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
• No more than 5 days of requested time off will be considered
• All scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of application, as requests after offer may lead to a rescinded offer
