Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a registered nurse for an SSSU/PACU position in Washington. Requires 2+ years of SSSU/PACU/Pre/Post experience and an active WA or compact RN license, plus BLS, ACLS and PALS.

The role covers outpatient services, day surgery, Endoscopy Lab, PACU, and prereq clinics with a four 10-hour day shift schedule and shared on-call rotation. Responsibilities include perioperative education, nursing assessment, recognizing post-anesthesia complications, and providing care

Qualifications

• Active WA license or compact RN required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years SSSU/PACU/Pre/Post experience required.
• Strong skills in Pre, Post, PACU, Phase II, Endoscopy, and Infusion required.

Responsibilities

• Covers Outpatient Services including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, PACU, Pre-operative Clinic, and conscious sedation for special procedures.
• Floating required across the entire Outpatient Services area.
• Schedule consists of four 10-hour day shifts with a variable schedule.
• Shared on-call rotation for PACU required.
• Provide perioperative education and care with nursing assessment skills.
• Recognize post anesthesia and post-operative complications.
