Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced RN - Operating Room with 3+ years of OR experience and Level I or II trauma experience for a Level 1 Trauma Center. The role requires an active CO or Compact RN license, BLS, and Epic EMR proficiency.

Travel assignments and cross-specialty OR exposure are expected in a high-volume center. Shifts are day 4x12s starting early morning, with some floats to evenings and occasional night shifts.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (CO or Compact) required.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• Minimum 3 years of Operating Room experience required.
• Level I or Level II Trauma Center experience required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• At least one completed travel assignment required.
• Experience circulating across Gynecology, Plastics, Neurology, Trauma, General Surgery, Urology, and ENT specialties.
• Experience circulating craniotomy cases required.

Responsibilities

• Level 1 Trauma Center with 41 operating rooms.
• Caseload includes General, GU/GYN, Neuro, ENT, and Plastic surgery procedures.
• 1:1 patient ratio.
• Day shift, 4x12 hour shifts starting at 0645, with occasional floats to 0845 and 1045 starts.
• Occasional floating to night shifts, up to 3 shifts per contract.
• Floating required to other UCH operating rooms as needed.
• Weekend coverage required per unit needs.
• On-call responsibilities as needed, approximately 3 shifts per 8-week schedule period.
• Provide circulating and scrub support across a high-volume, multi-specialty OR environment.
• Complete all facility-specific onboarding modules within the first week of assignment.
• Candidates previously employed by UCHealth or its affiliates within the last two years will not be considered.
• Travelers who completed a full year on assignment at this facility must wait at least one year before rebooking.
• Maximum of 10 RTO days per 13-week contract, with blackout dates during late Oct–early Jan
• No blocked scheduling requests permitted
• First-time travelers will not be considered
• Local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are eligible for a reduced bill rate
