Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is actively seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position at a Level 1 Trauma Center requiring general OR and trauma experience. This travel role requires MI RN licensure, BLS/CAC certifications, and Epic EMR proficiency, with 1 year of OR/trauma experience.

Responsibilities include rotating 7a-7p or 9a-9p shifts, 3x12-hour days, and on-call blocks. First-time travelers are welcome; non-competing references preferred.

Qualifications

• Active MI RN license required.
• Current BLS and CAC certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience required.
• General OR and Trauma experience required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• 2 supervisory references required (charge references not accepted).
• Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions; allergy-free option available if allergic.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room department of a Level 1 Trauma Center.
• Primarily adult patient population.
• Day/evening rotating shifts (7a-7p, 9a-9p, 11a-11p) or straight evenings, 3x12-hour schedule.
• Weekend and weeknight call required in 8-hour blocks (7a-3p, 3p-11p, 11p-7a).
• Up to 4 weeknight calls and 2 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule.
• No floating required.
• Level 1 Trauma Center environment.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Candidates cannot apply if previously employed by any of the client facilities within the last 12 months.
