Description

American Traveler is hiring a Trauma Neuro ICU RN for a night shift position at a Level 1 Trauma center requiring at least 1 year of relevant ICU experience.

Details

• Neuro Trauma Surgical ICU setting within a Level 1 Trauma center, Stroke Center of Excellence, Transplant Center, and Burn Center
• Standard patient ratio of 2:1
• Patient population includes MVC, gunshot wounds, stabbings, falls, CVA, craniotomy, aneurysm rupture, EVD, and lumbar drains
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Holiday coverage based on unit need

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN or compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification through AHA
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

The $2,271 weekly pay shown in this posting, along with related figures, corresponds to the higher end of this range. Weekly travel pay includes tax-free stipends per IRS guidelines. Weekly local pay is fully taxable and therefore lower due to additional employer-paid taxes and related costs.
