Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU position in Alexandria, VA. The role requires 2 years of Neuro ICU experience and NIHSS certification, with active RN license and BLS/ACLS current.

You will work 12-hour shifts, 36 hours weekly, with every-other-weekend coverage and potential float to Neuro IMC. Epic EMR experience preferred, scrubs specified.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Neuro ICU unit with 18 beds.
• Patient ratios of 1:2, acuity-based adjustments.
• 12-hour shifts, 7P-7A, 36 hours/week.
• Every-other-weekend coverage.
• May float to Neuro IMC unit.
• Uses Epic EMR.
• 2-shift floor orientation; additional shifts if needed.
• Holiday coverage on a rotating schedule.
• Scrub code: navy pants and navy/white tops or jackets

Responsibilities

• Neuro ICU unit with 18 beds
• Patient ratios of 1:2, flexing up or down based on acuity
• 12-hour shifts, 7P-7A schedule, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend requirement
• May float to Neuro IMC unit
• Uses Epic EMR
• Floor orientation consists of 2 shifts, with additional shifts if needed
• Holiday coverage required for 1 major and 1 minor holiday, on an every-other-holiday rotation
• Scrub requirements include navy blue pants with solid navy blue or white tops, and solid navy blue or white jackets
