American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Neuro ICU position in Arizona, requiring 2 years of ICU experience and AZ or compact RN licensure. The role features a night schedule (19:00–07:30) with a 36-hour week over a 13-week contract and location within a 50-mile radius of the facility.

Candidates must hold BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CPI certifications, and Cerner EMR experience, with DOB and SSN required for consideration. Driver's license is also required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification.
• Cerner EMR experience required, documented in employment history.
• Driver's license required for consideration.
• Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Neuro ICU setting within a hospital environment.
• Night shift schedule, 19:00-07:30.
• 36 expected weekly hours over a 13-week standard contract.
• Must be open to work any day of the week as self-scheduling is not offered.
• Provide critical care nursing to neuro ICU patients.
• Requires flexibility to work varying shifts across the week.
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility.
• Requested time off should be kept to less than 7 days.
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role.
• Candidates who previously worked as permanent staff or travelers at this health system must disclose this prior to consideration.
