American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced RN for a Level III NICU position in Lincoln, NE. Requires 3+ years in NICU, vent management, and central line care.

OB/GYN, Neonatology, and 24/7 anesthesia support are available. Routine 12-hour rotating shifts and potential floating to Mother-Baby/L&D are included. Ideal candidates hold NE or Compact RN license with BLS and NRP, strong communication, and the ability to pass a skills exam.

Qualificações

• Active RN license in NE state or Compact.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications.
• Minimum 3 years NICU experience.
• Experience with ventilators and central lines.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, multitasking, and independent work skills.
• Must reside within 50 miles of the facility per driver\'s license.
• Two professional references: one supervisor (last 12 months) and one peer/supervisor (last 3 years).

Responsabilidades

• Level III NICU with 27 beds; supports OB/GYN, Family Practice, Nurse Midwives, OB Hospitalists, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Neonatology, and 24/7 anesthesiology.
• Neonatal transport services available.
• Follows staffing guidelines with 3-4 continuous care, 2-3 intermediate, 1-2 intensive, and 1 multi-system care patients.
• 12-hour day/night rotating shifts (0630-1900 or 1830-0700).
• Floating to Mother-Baby or L&D to serve as baby/transition nurse; occasional floating to other units as safety advocate.
• Uses MEDITECH EMR.
• Occasional weekends/holidays; two extra shifts within 6 weeks.

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level III NICU position requiring 3 years of NICU experience and proficiency with vents and central lines.

Requirements

• Active RN license (NE state or Compact)
• Current BLS and NRP certifications
• Minimum 3 years of NICU experience required
• Experience with ventilators and central lines required
• Strong communication, critical thinking, multitasking, and independent work skills required
• Must work well with the neonatal patient population
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility

Responsibilities

• Level III high-risk NICU with 27 beds in a facility that also includes 11 LDRs, 2 OB ED beds, 2 ORs, and 23 postpartum rooms
• Supports OB/GYN, Family Practice, Nurse Midwives, OB Hospitalists, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Neonatology, and 24/7 anesthesiology access
• Facility offers neonatal transport services
• Follows AWHONN/NANN staffing guidelines with ratios of 3-4 continuous care, 2-3 intermediate care, 1-2 intensive care, and 1 multi-system support care patients
• 12-hour day/night rotating shifts from 0630-1900 or 1830-0700
• Routine floating to Mother-Baby or L&D to serve as baby/transition nurse for newborns
• Occasional floating to other hospital units as a safety advocate
• Uses MEDITECH EMR
• Scheduled for approximately every third weekend and holiday, with potential for additional shifts as needed
• Two extra shifts required within a 6-week period
• Serves as baby/transition nurse for newborns and provides well-baby care on the mother-baby unit
• Must pass a pass/fail, open-book skills exam during orientation with a minimum score of 90%
• Navy scrubs required
• Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care areas
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility, verified by driver's license
• Candidates may not have been employed full time, part time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility (including CHI and/or Dignity) within the past year
• First-time travelers may be considered
