Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Level III NICU RN for night shift in the Ardmore area. You will provide high-acuity neonatal care for 22+ week gestation infants on a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio, with Epic EMR documentation and a focus on safety and family-centered care.

Requirements include active RN license (PA or Compact), BLS and NRP, 2+ years NICU experience, and ventilator/therapeutic care expertise. First-time travelers welcome; travel housing available.

Qualifications

• Active RN license issued in PA or Compact required.
• Breathing and neonatal care certifications (BLS and NRP) required.
• Minimum 2 years NICU experience required.
• Experience with Epic charting preferred.
• Experience in teaching/community hospital settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for neonates in Level III NICU, 22+ weeks gestation, 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Night shift 19:00–07:00, 3x12-hour shifts; every other weekend.
• May float to Bryn Mawr Campus; nothing on-call.
• Document in Epic EMR; provide care from <24 to >34 weeks gestation.
• Perform UAC/UVC management, phototherapy, gavage feedings; assist with high-risk deliveries and LPs.

Job description

American Traveler is hiring a Level III NICU RN for night shift with 2+ years of NICU experience and required NRP certification.

Requirements

• Active RN license (PA or Compact) required
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
• Skilled in IV therapy, central and umbilical line care, and neonatal medication administration
• Experience with ventilator management, oxygen delivery systems, and respiratory distress care
• Competency in high-risk delivery attendance, APGAR scoring, and developmental care
• Experience with neonatal sepsis workup and isolation precautions

Responsibilities

• Level III NICU unit providing care for neonates 22+ weeks gestation, excluding surgeries and ECMO cases
• 1:3 patient ratio
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:00)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• May float to Bryn Mawr Campus
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Provide comprehensive care to neonates ranging from under 24 weeks to over 34 weeks gestational age
• Perform procedures including UAC/UVC management, phototherapy, and gavage feedings
• Support high-risk deliveries and assist with lumbar punctures as needed
• Navy blue scrubs required
• RTO requests subject to manager discretion
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
