American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele night shift. The role requires Epic proficiency and telemetry/stepdown experience, with OH license and BLS certification.

The RN will work primarily on the Respiratory unit, with potential to float to other Med-Surg areas. The schedule is 36 hours weekly on nights, with every other weekend and holiday coverage, plus telemetry testing and Epic proficiency assessment on day one.

Qualifications

• Active OH or compact RN license required.
• Active BLS certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of Telemetry/Stepdown experience required.
• Epic EMR proficiency required.
• Must be able to read telemetry and will be tested on day one.

Responsibilities

• Work primarily on the Respiratory unit, treating COVID patients.
• May float to Med-Surg units including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, ED/Med-Surg boarders.
• 36 hours per week on night shift (7p-7:30a).
• Every other weekend required; holiday coverage.
• Telemetry competency testing day one; ongoing Epic proficiency requirement.

Requirements

• Active BLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience required
• Must be able to competently read telemetry and will be tested on day one
• Current, active Epic EMR proficiency required

Responsibilities

• Work primarily on the Respiratory unit, which admits COVID patients
• May float occasionally to various Med-Surg units including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarders
• 36 hours per week on night shift (7p-7:30a)
• Every other weekend required
• No call requirement
• Holiday coverage required
• Telemetry competency testing will be administered on day one of assignment
• Continued assignment contingent on passing telemetry competency and demonstrating Epic proficiency
