American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift hospital assignment in South Carolina, requiring SC or compact RN licensure and EPIC EMR experience. You will work 3x12 hour nights, with every other weekend, and may float to other units.

Proficiency in IV therapy, phlebotomy, blood product administration, and NIHSS/ACLS/BLS is required. Benefits include high pay and bonuses, medical/dental/vision coverage from day one, a 401(k), housing allowances, travel and licensure

Qualifications

• Active SC license and compact license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent MS/Tele nursing experience required
• Minimum 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR required
• Experience with IV therapy/phlebotomy and blood product administration required
• Experience in Cardiac Telemetry, ER Holding, or Cardiac Telemetry preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration

Responsabilités

• MS/Tele unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM-7:30 AM)
• Every other weekend coverage required, subject to unit needs
• Floating to other qualified units or facilities required based on census needs
• Uses EPIC EMR system and Omnicell medication system
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Provide nursing care on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit, including cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Orientation held every Monday with annual compliance requirements
• Pre-assignment testing and modules must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login credentials
• First-time travelers will be considered based on experience
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from any facility within the health system to be eligible, with reduced rates for 90-99.9 miles
• Night shift candidates in this specialty must live at least 50 miles from the contracted campus, with reduced rates for 50-99.9 miles and ineligibility under 50 miles
• Travelers completing a third consecutive 13-week contract or reaching 39 weeks must begin conversion to employee status or take a minimum six-month separation before returning as a traveler
