American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift in Medford, OR, with at least 2 years of experience. The role includes cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and on-call duties within a short-term acute care hospital.

This travel assignment offers housing allowance, weekly pay, and licensure reimbursements, with a 3x12 schedule (19:00–07:00) and a 1:4 patient ratio, plus holidays and potential facility floating.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in hand at submission.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience.
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred, though first-time travelers may be considered.
• Experience with cardiac monitoring and emergency response required.
• Skilled in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
• Must provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years.

Responsabilités

• Work in the Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit of a short-term acute care hospital.
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-07:00).
• Patient ratio of 1:4.
• Every other weekend required.
• On-call required based on census needs.
• Floating between units required.
• Uses Epic charting system.
• Provide direct patient care in a Med/Surg Tele setting including cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management.
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable for this role.
• May be required to float between sister facilities within the same health system.
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel pay rates.
• Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they reside outside the 50-mile radius.
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position.
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the application process.
