American Traveler is currently hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift hospital assignment in Ohio. Must hold an OH or Compact license with BLS, ACLS, NIHSS and have at least 1 year of Med/Surg Tele experience. A manager-level reference is required and there can be no open license or background issues.

The role includes 4x12 hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) with local candidates considered at the same pay rate. Vaccines are required, while nicotine-free restrictions do not apply to nurses.

• One professional reference from a manager/supervisor/director.

Responsibilities

• Locals accepted at the same bill rate.
• ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Travelers to work every other holiday.
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required; exemptions only for medical or religious reasons.
• Nurses exempt from nicotine-free requirement.
• RTO discussed during interview and finalized prior to consideration.

• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in the Med/Surg Tele specialty required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required (coworker references not accepted)
• No open background check cases or license hits accepted

Responsibilities

• Work in the Med/Surg Tele unit of a hospital environment
• Night shift schedule, 4x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:30
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, with up to two attempts to pass
• Travelers expected to work every other holiday
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract
• RTO must be discussed during interview and finalized prior to consideration
