Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift contract in Ohio. A valid Ohio or compact RN license is required, with at least 1 year of Med/Surg Telemetry experience and current BLS/ACLS certifications.

The nurse will work 3x12-hour nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with orientation including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments. Vaccines are required unless exempt for medical or religious reasons.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required, NIHSS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting.
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Will complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation, with up to two attempts allowed to pass.
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free policy.
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only.
• Expected to work every other holiday.
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate.
• Candidates who previously worked as permanent staff at this health system must wait 1 year from their end date before returning.

• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required, NIHSS preferred
• Minimum of 1 year combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry required
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty, from an assignment within the past 12 months
