Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift assignment in Colorado. Requires 2 years of recent MS/Tele experience and an active CO or compact RN license. BLS/ACLS/PALS are required, with proficiency in IV therapy, line care, and telemetry monitoring.

Responsibilities include 3x12 night shifts (18:00–06:30), 1:6 patient ratio, and call shifts. Pyxis and Amrita documentation systems are used. First-time travelers welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (CO or compact) in hand.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Tele or Tele experience.
• Experience with IV therapy, central/peripheral lines, PICC line management.
• Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation.
• Cardiac care including cardiac events and stroke care.

• Med/Surg Tele unit assignment.
• Night shift 3x12 hours, 18:00–06:30.
• Patient ratio 1:6.
• Call requirement 2 shifts per month.
• Uses Pyxis and Amrita systems.

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift assignment requiring 2 years of recent MS/Tele experience and a CO or compact RN license.

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of recent MS/Tele, Cardiac Tele, or Tele experience required
• Skills in IV therapy/phlebotomy, central and peripheral line care, PICC line management, and blood product administration
• Experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and telemetry unit monitoring
• Experience with respiratory care including HFNC, ABG interpretation, oxygen administration, and tracheostomy care
• Experience with heparin protocols and titrating cardiac drips
• Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drip titration
• Experience with wound care/wound vac and isolation precautions/PPE
• Any charting system experience accepted

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg Tele unit assignment
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 18:00-6:30)
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Call requirement of 2 shifts per month, which may fall on days or nights depending on unit needs
• Uses Pyxis medication system and Amrita documentation system
• Any scrub color accepted
• Provide care to Med/Surg and telemetry patients, including cardiac, CVA, and neurological/psychiatric cases
• RTO requests require manager approval
