Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift assignment in Ohio. The role requires 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Responsibilities include three 12-hour night shifts weekly (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) and orientation assessments with ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate tests. Vaccines are required, with possible exemptions. Local candidates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license required
• Minimum 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Recent Epic charting experience within the last 6 months required
• One professional reference from a manager/supervisor/directory required (charge RN refs accepted)

Responsibilities

• Work in the Med/Surg Tele unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Assignment length of 18 weeks with 13-week contracts also considered
• Required to work at least every other holiday
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Will complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation, with a passing score on both
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
