American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Med Surg/Telemetry RN for a night shift at an acute care hospital in Michigan. This role requires 2 years of MS/Telemetry experience and availability for a float pool, with 12-hour night shifts and 36 hours guaranteed.

Candidates must hold an active MI RN license, BLS, and a non-compact license, with no on-call required. You will provide direct patient care, document in Cerner EMR, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe discharge planning.

Responsabilidades

• 12-hour night shifts with 36 hours guaranteed
• Float to other units as part of a float pool
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments on admission and monitor condition trends
• Prepare, administer, and chart medications including IVs and wound care as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans
• Educate patients and families on post-surgery care, medications, and discharge instructions
• Recognize early signs of deterioration and respond to stabilize patients
• Navy blue scrub dress code
• Local travelers within 35 miles eligible for travel rate adjustments
• Maximum of 5 days RTO may be requested during assignment
• Uses Cerner EMR

• 404-bed acute care hospital offering cardiovascular, neuroscience, women's health, orthopedics, rehabilitation, and oncology services
• Med Surg unit with telemetry monitoring
• 12-hour night shifts with 36 hours guaranteed
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Required to float to other units as part of a float pool
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments upon admission and monitor condition trends throughout hospital stay
• Prepare, administer, and chart prescribed medications including IVs, and manage wound care or specialized equipment
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on post-surgery care, medication schedules, and post-discharge instructions
• Recognize early signs of medical deterioration and respond swiftly to stabilize patients
• Navy blue scrub dress code
• Candidates residing within a 35-mile radius are considered local travelers and subject to reduced travel rate
• Maximum of 5 days RTO may be requested during the assignment
