Responsibilities include post-op ortho care, 1:4 patient ratio, on-call and floating as needed, with travel rate eligibility and housing/per diem benefits.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 41-bed Medical Surgical Unit serving all ages
• Common diagnoses include post-op orthopedic procedures and total joint replacements
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Uses Meditech EHR
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required, with additional weekend hours as needed
• On-call required as needed
• Floating required as needed, potentially within a 25-mile radius of the facility
• Provide medical/surgical and telemetry nursing care across a wide age range of patients
• No specific scrub color required, though casual wear is not acceptable
• Candidates must consent to random onsite drug screening and complete a criminal questionnaire
• Unable to accommodate specific scheduling or holiday requests
• Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
