American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing position in Soldotna, Alaska. An active AK RN license and at least one year of LTC experience are required.

You will work 12-hour day and night shifts in the Heritage Place Wellness unit, with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:18 by day and 1:25 at night, using Epic EMR and Pyxis, and complete orientation and required training before starting.

Qualifications

• Active AK RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of LTC experience required.
• BSN preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with PC, applicable software, peripheral equipment, and clinical databases.

Responsibilities

• Work in Heritage Place Wellness unit, LTC/SNF post-acute care setting.
• 12-hour day/night rotating shifts, nights 6pm–6:30am.
• Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:18 days, 1:25 nights.
• No floating required.
• Uses Epic EMR and Pyxis for meds.
• Complete orientation and required modules before starting.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Heritage Place Wellness unit, a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing (LTC/SNF) post-acute care setting
• 12-hour day/night rotating shifts, nights from 6p to 6:30a
• Nurse to patient ratios of 1:18 on days and 1:25 on nights
• No floating required
• Uses Epic EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing system
• Provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process and primary nursing principles in accordance with departmental policies and standards
• General and Planetree orientation required prior to starting
• Completion of required modules required before starting
• COVID vaccination or declination form required for all staff; unvaccinated staff must wear masks
• Scrubs required as dress code
• Accepts local candidates
• Previous employment at any Central Peninsula Hospital location must be disclosed for a Do Not Use (DNU) check
