Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Long Term Care assignment in Hawaii. Requires an active HI RN license and at least 2 years of experience, plus current BLS certification. The 13-week assignment includes varied 8-hour shifts, with weekend and holiday coverage, and possible OT rotations.

On-site facility located within a hospital campus; candidates must complete HR clearance a week before start and have license ready before the pre-employment health appointment.

Qualifications

• Active HI RN license required by start of assignment.
• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Long Term Care facility located on site of a hospital.
• 13-week assignment.
• Varied 8-hour shift scheduling including Days (0730-1530), Evenings (1500-2330), and Nights (2300-0730).
• Weekend and holiday coverage required.
• OT rotation may be required with no guarantee of hours or shift preference.
• Perform patient assessments, treatments, and medication administration.
• Notify MD/NP of pertinent patient information.
• Responsible for admitting and discharging patients.
• Provide ADL assistance, gastrostomy tube care, urinary catheter care, nebulizer treatments, wound vac care, and CPAP care.
• Candidates must arrive on-site the Friday prior to a Monday start to complete employee health and HR clearance with no exceptions.
• All compliance documents must be completed and uploaded at least 1 week before the start date.
• HI RN license must be in hand prior to the employee health/HR appointment.
