American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility position in Garrison, North Dakota. Requires an ND state or compact license and 2+ years LTC experience, on a 26-week contract with 12-hour day shifts.
You will work in a 26-bed LTC facility with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:10 by day and no telemetry. Compensation includes $2,110 weekly pay, lodging and meals stipends, and comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications

- BLS certification required.
- Minimum 2 years LTC experience required.
- Two professional references: one supervisor within last 12 months and one from last 3 years.
Responsibilities
- Charge nurse duties, med administration, and wound care.
- No IVs, titratable drips, or telemetry on unit.
- Document care and coordinate with DON and physicians as needed.

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility position requiring an ND or compact license and 2+ years of LTC experience.
- Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility setting with 26 beds/residents
- Patient population includes heart disease, diabetes, and dementia diagnoses
- Nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:10 on days and 1:19 on nights
- No IVs, titratable drips, or telemetry monitoring on this unit
- Uses MatrixCare/Matrix EMR system
- 12-hour day shifts, 7a-7p, working every other weekend
- No floating or call/standby requirements
- No respiratory therapist on-site 24/7
- Physician available by phone after hours
- PT available as needed, with a designated social worker
- Pharmacy services are off-site
- Oxygen therapy equipment includes concentrators and portable concentrators
- Active ND state or Compact RN license required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- LTC experience required
- Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility
- Copy of driver's license required for consideration
- Nurse serves as charge nurse, administers medications, and performs wound care
- No clinical involvement with acute inpatient rehab team conferences
- Works under DON supervision with no additional nursing supervisors on-site
- No dress code specified beyond clean and presentable attire
- 2-3 shifts of unit/department specific orientation provided
- Holiday coverage required for every other major holiday
- Upfront RTO limited to 7 days or less per 13-week contract, with no additional RTO approved after submission
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
- Candidates may not have current or recent full-time, part-time, or PRN employment with any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility, including CHI and/or Dignity
