Job summary
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position in Illinois. The role requires current IL licensure and prior Level 1 Trauma Center ICU experience. You will work in the ICU and Step-Down ICU units caring for critically ill cardiovascular and neuro patients.
The night shift runs 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with floating to Step-Down ICU as needed. Minimum 2 years ICU experience and NIHSS certification are required; BLS/ACLS and IL RN license must be active.

- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- NIHSS certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years ICU experience required.
- Prior ICU experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center required.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with education verification required.

- Cares for critically ill cardiovascular, neurological, and coronary care patients

- Provides clinical guidance and support to other units in the patient's care journey
- Applies critical thinking to ensure patient safety and appropriately escalates concerns
