Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Med/Surg assignment in Iowa. The role requires an IA or compact RN license, BLS, NIHSS, and at least 1 year of nursing experience. A 6-month, 26-week contract with a 7:00 AM–7:30 PM shift is offered, with every other weekend and holiday required.

Local candidates in select states may be considered. Applicants must have license verification dated within 30 days of start.

Qualifications

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• NIHSS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience is required.
• License/certification verification must be dated within 30 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients on a Med/Surg unit.
• Work on a 6-month, 26-week assignment.
• Shift is 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
• Every other weekend and every other holiday.
• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg unit.
• Radius rule of 60 miles applies for consideration at most Trinity Health locations.
• Local candidates accepted in select states depending on facility.
