Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN for a 13-week day shift assignment in North Carolina, requiring an RN license (NC or Compact) and AHA certifications. You will provide medical-surgical nursing care in a hospital setting, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, for a diverse patient population.

The assignment requires residency beyond 60 miles from the facility and disallows concurrent full-time employment elsewhere; LifePoint staff in the last year are ineligible.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) required
• AHA certifications required
• Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration

Responsibilities

• Medical Surgical unit within a hospital setting
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Provide medical-surgical nursing care to a combination patient population
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this assignment
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
