Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an RN - Med/Surg for a hospital unit in Colorado. A CO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience are required. Shift is 3x12hr Days, 0700-1930, with rotating weekends and 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Active CO or compact RN license required.
• BLS certification (AHA) required and must not expire prior to start.
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification may be required as appropriate for unit or service.
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience required.
• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg unit setting in a hospital environment.
• Shift: 3x12hr Days, 0700-1930.
• Rotating weekend requirement.
• 36 hours per week.
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications.
• May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
• Uses Epic for charting.
• Perform independent nursing functions including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic treatment to support patient recovery.
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
• Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed.
• Promote facility mission, vision, and values through service behavior standards.
• Returning staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment.
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position.
