Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Tennessee. The position requires 2+ years of RN Med/Surg experience and an active TN or compact RN license, with ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.

The role features a 7:00 PM–7:00 AM night shift, a 6:1 patient ratio, and involves potential float to other Med/Surg units within a Level III Trauma Center. Candidates must reside 60 miles or more from the facility to be eligible for travel pay.

Qualifications

• Active TN or compact RN license required.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required.
• Minimum 2 years RN Med/Surg experience required.
• Tennessee Abuse Registry check required prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg unit in a 167-bed hospital setting.
• 12-bed unit with adult and geriatric patient population.
• 6:1 patient ratios.
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM.
• Every other weekend required; no call.
• May float to other Med/Surg units as needed.
• Level III Trauma Center.

Responsibilities

• 167-bed hospital setting on a Medical Surgical Combination unit
• 12-bed unit with adult and geriatric patient population
• 6:1 patient ratios
• Uses Meditech EHR
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No call requirements
• May float to other Med Surg units as needed
• Level III Trauma Center
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
• Any scrub color accepted; casual wear not permitted
• Professional demeanor expected
