Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg Registered Nurse for a night shift assignment in Alabama. Requires at least 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience and an active AL or compact RN license.

This travel role offers a 13-week assignment with comprehensive benefits, including Day 1 medical/dental/vision, a 401(k), and housing and travel reimbursements. Local candidates are not considered; CHS staff are ineligible if recently employed.

Qualifications

• Active AL or compact RN license required.
• BLS and other required certifications must not expire within first 30 days.
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience required.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg unit assignment (Unit/Floor 6).
• Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered.
• Former CHS facility perm staff are ineligible for this travel position if employed within the past 2 years.
• RTO requests must be less than one week.
