Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Virginia. Requires 2+ years Med/Surg experience and active Epic EMR proficiency. VA or Compact RN license, and BLS/ACLS from AHA are required.

Shifts are 3x12s from 6:45a-7:15p with every other weekend and holiday coverage. No on-call; floating is required. Benefits include housing allowance, travel reimbursements, and per diem subsidies.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (VA State or Compact) required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA only.
• 2+ years of recent Med/Surg experience required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Medical/Surgical unit setting care.
• 3x12 day shifts from 6:45a to 7:15p.
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage.
• No on-call requirements; floating required.
• Uses Epic EMR; care for Med/Surg patients on a general medical floor.
• Navy blue scrubs per facility dress code.
• Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility; no local candidates.
• First-time travelers may be considered.
