American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week travel contract in Georgia. The role requires an active GA or Compact RN license and at least 18 months of RN experience. Night shifts total 36 hours weekly, with 3x12-hour shifts and no on-call duties.

Floating between Emory facilities and housing assistance are included; candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility. SSN and DOB are required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Must provide SSN and DOB for consideration.

Responsibilities

• 13-week travel contract on the Internal Float Pool unit.
• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours/week.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• May handle ED border patients within their specialty.
• Floating between two Emory facilities, primarily at the main facility, with float assignments kept within specialty.
• Assigned work location communicated before each shift.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted.
• Strict RTO policies; time off requests needed upfront.
• Maximum of 5 days RTO, 3 days near holidays; one holiday request permitted per contract.
• Former Emory or Houston system employees must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning, or 18 months if returning to the same facility.

Responsibilities

• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week

• May handle ED border patients within their specialty
• Floating required between two Emory facilities as needed, primarily at the main facility, with float assignments kept within specialty
• Assigned work location communicated in advance of each shift
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Strict RTO policies apply, with all time off requests needed upfront
• Maximum of 5 days RTO allowed if not falling on or near a holiday, reduced to 3 days if near a holiday
• Only one holiday request permitted per contract
