Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position in Georgia. The role requires an active GA or Compact RN license and at least 18 months of RN experience, with BLS on hand. ACLS and NIHSS are preferred, and travel nursing experience is a plus.

The nurse will work on a Med/Surg Tele unit on the hospital's third floor with a night shift (3x12s, 36 hours per week) and no on-call responsibilities. Housing allowance and reimbursements support travel staff.

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg Tele unit on the third floor of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 3x12s totaling 36 hours per week
• No on-call responsibilities
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, no local candidates allowed
• Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days if falling on or near a holiday
• Only one holiday RTO request is allowed per assignment
