American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Med-Surg unit in Caldwell, Idaho. The role requires 2 years of Med-Surg nursing experience and an active RN license (ID or compact). You will work 12-hour night shifts (7:00PM-7:00AM) with a 36-hour work week and will float between Med-Surg and Ortho-Spine.

Open to candidates residing outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted. Benefit options include housing allowance, travel and licensure reimbursements, and weekly

Qualifications

Active RN license (ID or compact) required.
Current BLS certification required.
Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg nursing experience required.
No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment start.
No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.
US SSN and date of birth required for consideration.
One professional reference required.

Responsabilités

Medical-Surgical unit with 27 beds on the 2nd floor of the Main Campus
Patient ratio of 6:1
Diverse patient population including stroke, trauma, bariatric, urology, joint and spine surgery, CHF, COPD, bowel obstruction, AKI, ARF, withdrawal
Uses Alaris and Welch Allyn equipment
Charts in Meditech EMR
Night shift 7:00PM-7:00AM (12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week)
12-week assignment
Float required between Med-Surg and Ortho-Spine which share the same unit
No on-call required but may be scheduled for all weekends
Provide direct patient care for a diverse Med-Surg population
Ideal candidates are collaborative, team-oriented and growth-minded
Ortho-Spine experience, ACLS certification, and charge experience are preferred
Scrub attire required: Galaxy Blue or Navy Blue tops with matching or black bottoms
Candidates reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
