Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN for a night shift assignment in West Virginia. This travel role requires a WV license or compact, Epic EMR proficiency, and at least 2 years of Med/Surg experience.

You will work an 18-bed Med/Surg unit on a 3x12 night schedule (7:00p-7:00a) with 1:6 patient ratios, weekend/holiday coverage, housing and licensure reimbursements, and travel benefits. The position offers competitive pay and daily per diem options for eligible shifts.

Qualifications

• Active WV RN license or compact license required
• BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
• WV Cares certification required
• Minimum 2 years Med Surg experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Med Surg/Tele experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Work in an 18-bed Medical/Surgical unit providing general adult acute care
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Night shift schedule (7:00p-7:00a) on a 3x12 rotation
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
• No on-call requirements
• No floating required
• Provide direct patient care to general Med Surg patients
• Navy blue scrubs required per facility dress code
• Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel position
