Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Long-Term Care for a full-time contract travel assignment in Dubuque, IA. You will deliver high-quality geriatric nursing care in a skilled nursing facility, coordinating with an interdisciplinary team.

This day-shift role offers a competitive weekly pay of $1,622.80 and an opportunity to work with a supportive leadership team. Candidates must have an RN license (Iowa or compact), BLS, and LTC experience.

Qualifications

Education: ADN or BSN from an accredited program.
Licensure: Iowa RN license or active Compact/NLC state license.
BLS certification required.
CGN or gerontology credential preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments and monitor residents for health status changes.
Administer medications and manage IV therapy per physician orders.
Perform wound care and skin integrity assessments and pressure ulcer prevention.
Identify acute changes, update care plans accordingly.
Coordinate interdisciplinary care with physicians, therapists and social workers.
Document all care in the facility's EHR system.
Educate residents and families about care plans, safety and management.
