Healthforce is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for Long-Term Care in Dubuque, IA, on the Day Shift. This contract role focuses on geriatric nursing care within a skilled facility, coordinating with an interdisciplinary team.

The RN will assess residents, administer medications, manage IVs, perform wound care, and educate families while documenting in the EHR. Requires ADN/BSN and an active RN license; BLS; LTC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: ADN or BSN from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Active RN license in Iowa or compact state.
• BLS certification required; gerontology credential preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive resident assessments and monitor health changes.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy as ordered.
• Perform wound care and pressure ulcer prevention tasks.
• Identify acute changes and update care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers for care.
• Document care in the facility's EHR accurately.
• Educate residents and families about care plans and safety.
