Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Long Term Care is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Care for a 12-week assignment in Davenport, IA. The position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts, and travel employment with generous benefits. Start date, duration, and assignment details are provided for qualified RNs.

Ideal candidates have 1 year LTC RN experience, valid license, and BLS/CPR certification. ACLS preferred, with potential facility-specific requirements.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an RN in a long-term care setting.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health, monitor for changes, and take action to ensure well-being.
• Develop and update personalized care plans in collaboration with residents and families.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Observe for medication reactions or changes and report concerns to the provider.
• Provide wound care, IV therapy, catheter management and other skilled procedures within scope.
• Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs, delegating appropriately.
• Educate residents and families on medications, treatments, and chronic condition management.
• Document care provided and resident progress in a timely manner.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with medical teams as needed.
• Work with physicians, therapists, and other professionals for coordinated care.
• Perform other duties within scope of practice.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
