American Traveler is seeking a Perinatal RN Manager for a 13-week leadership assignment in Colorado. The role requires perinatal nursing expertise and leadership responsibilities overseeing the perinatal unit.

Candidates should hold Colorado RN licensure, ADN or higher, and possess required certifications (NRP, FHM, STABLE, BLS). AWHONN FHM and EPIC EMR experience are preferred. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active or compact RN license valid in Colorado required prior to start.
• ADN required; BSN or MSN preferred.
• BLS certification required (may be obtained upon hire).
• NRP certification required.
• AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring Intermediate (FHM) certification required.
• STABLE Program Learner certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of perinatal RN experience required.
• 2+ years of nursing leadership experience preferred.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perinatal unit setting focused on labor and delivery and obstetric nursing.
• 5 x 8-hour shift schedule.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Oversee perinatal nursing operations and staff in a leadership capacity.
• Must be able to safely function in a low oxygen, high elevation environment (approximately 8,000 ft).
• No RTO (requested time off) accommodated during this assignment.
• Travelers are responsible for arranging their own housing, with higher costs common in the surrounding mountain communities.
