Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an RN for Labor & Delivery/Obstetrics with an active IA or Compact license and willingness to float to med-surg when needed.

The role covers labor & delivery, postpartum, and recovery on the OB unit, with night shifts and every third weekend. The assignment is 13 weeks, offering full nursing responsibilities and opportunities to float as census requires.

Qualifications

Active IA or Compact RN license currently in hand.
Current BLS certification required.
Additional certifications may include NRP, PALS, ACLS, ENPC, TNCC, AWHONN, STABLE, NBSTSA, APHON, CMA, CCMA, or RMA.

Responsibilities

OB unit covering labor, delivery, postpartum, and recovery.
Float to the med-surg floor when no obstetric patients are present.
Night shift schedule with every third weekend required.
13-week assignment.
Provide nursing care across labor, delivery, and recovery patients.
Float to med-surg unit as census requires.
