Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a Labor and Delivery RN for a 16-week travel assignment in Charlottesville, VA. The role emphasizes obstetric nursing care, fetal monitoring, and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure safe labor and delivery outcomes.

The position requires at least one year of L&D experience, an active RN license, and current BLS; NRP certification is also required or preferred.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent Labor and Delivery RN experience.
• Valid RN license in the state.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP Certification.

Responsibilities

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Assist in cesarean sections and obstetric procedures.
• Provide postpartum care for mother and newborn.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and other team members.
