Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Labor and Delivery travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in Charlottesville, VA. The role requires RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and a minimum of 3 years of acute care experience. Expect 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts with travel benefits and a tax-free stipend.

Ideal candidates are prepared to manage labor, assist with procedures, monitor newborns, and provide compassionate patient support throughout labor and delivery. Immediate start is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years' recent acute care experience required
• BLS and ACLS required

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques
• Check cervix progression and dilation
• Assist with delivery instruments and immediate newborn care
• Support physician during epidurals or cesarean delivery as needed
