Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Charlottesville, Virginia. The role offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour nights, and the opportunity to work with a dedicated clinical team in a hospital setting.

The Labor and Delivery RN will assess maternal and fetal health, administer treatments, and collaborate with obstetric specialists to deliver safe, patient-centered care during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
• Valid RN license in Virginia and current BLS certification.
• NRP certification required or in process.

Responsibilities

• Assess maternal and fetal health and respond to obstetric emergencies.
• Administer medications and assist during labor and delivery.
• Provide immediate postpartum care and patient education.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and neonatologists.
• Document care in the medical record and participate in quality initiatives.
