Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN with a CA RN license, 2+ years of experience, and AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification for a night shift LDRP position in Templeton, California.

The role is 36 hours per week, nights 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, 18 weeks with no call requirements; EPIC experience is required and RN must maintain licensure and certifications.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care RN experience
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer
• NRP certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring course required on hire and renewed every two years
• Novice L&D RNs must complete AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring course during first 6-8 months of orientation
• No prior adverse licensure actions permitted

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care as an RN in the L&D unit
• Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care duties
• Actively participate in committees such as Shared Governance
• Promote positive relations with patients, families, physicians, and coworkers
• Maintain current professional licenses and certifications as required
• Adhere to all applicable professional, regulatory, and hospital policies
