American Traveler Staffing Professionals is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery travel assignment in the United States. The role requires 2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience and prior travel nursing experience.

You will work a 14-bed L&D unit with patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2, using Cerner or GE Centricity EMR, on a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, totaling 36 hours per week. The assignment lasts 13 weeks, starting Oct 26, 2026, with potential variations.

Qualifications

Active TN or compact RN license required on file at time of consideration
Current certifications: BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring, and ACLS
Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
Prior travel nursing experience required
Must be able to circulate

Responsibilities

Work in a 14-bed Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
Patient population consists of expecting persons; care with 1:1 to 1:2 ratios
Circulate during procedures and monitor patient status
Document using Cerner or GE Centricity EMR
Night shift 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, 36 hours per week
Float to NICU and Postpartum units as needed

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 2+ years of experience and prior travel nursing experience.

Details

Work in a 14-bed Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
Patient population consists of expecting persons
Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:2
Uses Cerner and GE Centricity EMR systems
12-hour night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
36 hours per week
No block schedule offered; must be flexible to meet unit staffing needs
Float to Helping Hands, NICU, and Postpartum units as needed

Requirements

Surgical scrubs provided
No time off approved from 9/19 through 10/17 due to Epic Go Live

Local candidates accepted at a lower rate
Radius rule of 75 miles applies for travel rate eligibility
