Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery in Massachusetts. Must hold an MA RN license (temporary accepted) and have circulating experience in a Birthing Unit.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license (Temp license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience with required circulating experience
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and intermediate-level EFM
• Epic EMR experience required

Responsibilities

• Work in the hospital's Obstetrics Birthing Unit
• Day shift schedule consisting of 3x12-hour shifts per week (3a-3p)
• Uses Epic EMR
• Provide nursing care within the Labor and Delivery/Birthing Unit
• Preferred but not required certifications include ALSO, NCC Perinatal certifications, and First Latch breastfeeding certification
• RTO limited to no more than 7 days during the assignment
• Returning staff previously employed permanently at the facility are not eligible to return as travelers
• Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at a reduced rate

Requirements

• Active MA RN license (Temp license accepted) required
• Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience with required circulating experience
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and intermediate-level EFM
• Epic EMR experience required
• Medical or religious COVID exemption documentation accepted if applicable

Responsibilities

• Work in the hospital's Obstetrics Birthing Unit
• Day shift schedule consisting of 3x12-hour shifts per week (3a-3p)
• Uses Epic EMR
• Provide nursing care within the Labor and Delivery/Birthing Unit
• Preferred but not required certifications include ALSO, NCC Perinatal certifications, and First Latch breastfeeding certification
• Blue scrubs recommended though no strict color requirement
• RTO limited to no more than 7 days during the assignment
• Returning staff previously employed permanently at the facility are not eligible to return as travelers
• Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at a reduced rate
