Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an RN for Labor & Delivery in Texas with a TX or compact RN license and Cerner EMR experience. The role requires current certifications and Labor & Delivery experience, working in the Delivery Room with Cerner EMR in a hospital setting.

The position offers an evening 18:45 start, a 3x12-hour schedule (36 hours weekly), and requires residence within 50 miles of the facility. Travel housing allowance and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license required.
• Current certifications required at time of consideration.
• Prevention First certification required.
• Cerner EMR experience required and must be listed in employment history.
• Must meet required experience for the Labor & Delivery specialty.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Delivery Room unit of a hospital setting.
• Evening shift beginning at 18:45.
• Schedule consists of 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours weekly).
• Must be open to work any day of the week as self-scheduling is not available.
• Uses Cerner EMR.
• Provide nursing care within the Labor & Delivery unit.
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility.
• RTO requests should be kept to less than 7 days.
• Returning permanent employees must obtain approval prior to consideration.
