Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Labor & Delivery RN with LDRP experience for a night shift position in Vermont. A VT or compact RN license is required, along with BLS, NRP, and Epic EMR experience within the last two years.

The ideal candidate will work in the Birthing Center, covering Labor, Delivery, Post-Partum and Newborn Care on a 12-hour night shift (36 hours per week) with rotating weekends and occasional floating to Med Surg and ED. Local candidates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Active VT or compact RN license required.
• AHA BLS and NRP certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year of LDRP experience required.
• Experience in Labor, Delivery, Post-Partum Care, and Newborn Care required.
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Birthing Center unit of a hospital setting.
• Provides care across Labor, Delivery, Post-Partum, and Newborn Care.
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week.
• Schedule runs Monday through Sunday with no block scheduling.
• Minimum of every other weekend required or as adjusted to meet unit needs.
• Floating required to Med Surg and ED units.
• Holiday coverage required for 2 of the following 4: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day.
• Local candidates are accepted.

Requirements

• Experience in Labor, Delivery, Post-Partum Care, and Newborn Care required
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required
