American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring EFM certification and night shift availability.

The role is based in Kentucky with a compact/LIC RN license accepted, and requires 2 years of acute care experience along with BLS, ACLS, and NRP. Responsibilities include providing care in the Labor & Delivery unit, supervising staff, mentoring new nurses, and participating in quality and safety initiatives.

Qualifikationen

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM (AWHONN accepted if not in place over 1 year)
• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience required
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required

Aufgaben

• Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, every other weekend
• 36 hours per week across 3 shifts, 12 hours per day
• Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate patient plans of care following the Kristin M. Swanson Model of Care
• Supervise and delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff members
• Mentor and precept staff while promoting teamwork and collaboration
• Participate in quality, safety, and service process improvement initiatives
• Provide patient and family education specific to care, treatment, and discharge needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient and family-centered care
