Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift in Hawaii. Licensure as a HI RN and required certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP, FHM) are essential. BSN preferred and acute care experience is advantageous.

The role involves delivering coordinated nursing care on the Labor & Delivery unit, supervising staff, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Night shift runs 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM; local candidates are welcomed at travel rates.

Qualifications

• Active HI RN license is required.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, FHM certifications required.
• BSN Bachelor’s degree preferred; acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Labor and Delivery unit in an acute care hospital setting.
• Night shift schedule, 06:30 PM-07:00 AM.
• Deliver coordinated nursing care following standards and nursing process.
• Supervise and direct nursing staff and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses and develop care plans.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and providers to ensure safe, humane care.
• Participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care.
• Provide patient and family education during care process.

• No candidates with a prior hit on license will be considered

Responsibilities

• Labor and Delivery unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 06:30 PM-07:00 AM
• Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned patients following established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines
• Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses and develop individualized care plans
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, humane, and caring treatment environment
• Participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care
• Provide patient and family education throughout the care process
• Required to receive all applicable vaccinations as a condition of employment
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel candidates
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered
